25th August 2008 Windsurfing: felixstowe dip Wind Direction: wsw Wind Stength: 15 /20mph Surf / Sea State: flat to bumpy Air Temperature: 65 Sea Temperature: Weather: good Max Speed: 24K (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: dont know A early start with Rog and me on 7.5M ripping from around 10 ish. It was OK the first 3/4 hr but there were holes and it started switching offshore. Had some seriously quick runs over waves but gps was 24K so not that quick, had to spend time with wife on bank Hol so packed up early - and the wind switch to offshore immediately! but everyone except peter and ian derigged and went to the fludgyers. I collected wifey and said,wouldn't it be a good idea to go for a walk and a beer at the fludg! crafty eh! when I got there 6 of the bastards were ripping phil rog paul x 2 steve. I had a beer and watced the lucky bastards had the time of there life! guess I must love my wife eh......:( |
